We have recently been to the TV studio where we have had the opportunity to learn about the process of filming and editing in a live setting. It seemed awfully difficult, but it was so much fun to learn about all the different jobs behind the scenes. Beyond the cameras on set, one can find the gallery where most of the action takes place, the director and the producer both manage what, in my opinion, is the most challenging position but highly interesting to perform. They decide most of what the final product will be seen on live television, with the help of the rest of the team, like the floor manager, the sound recordist and the prompter operator.

Each job as necessary as the rest where if one can find the right combination of communication and skills, an amazing live show can be made. We now have the work to present a pitch and then select which idea can be made. I’m really excited to be hands-on in a project like this, we will have to be very hard working the next few rehearsals and have all our footage ready for the screening day. Hopefully everything will be ready in time for the big show.
